FUNDRAISER
EXPLANATION
- What:
- This will be our only fundraiser.
- The WBL
will conduct a fundraiser based on the Ohio Lottery’s June evening Pick 3 Number.
- Tickets
will have a number on it ranging from 000 – 999.
- If the evening’s Pick 3 matches in the exact order the number on
your ticket – you win $50.
- Cost:
- In
addition to the League’s registration fees, a $20 charge will be added
for every player.
- Payable
at registration time.
- For
example:
- A
family that has 1 player in the League:
- League
fee: $50
- Lottery
fee: $20 (4 tickets x $5)
- A
family with 2 players in the League:
- League
fee: $65
- Lottery
fee: $40 (8 tickets x $5)
- A
family with 3 players in the League:
- League
fee: $80
- Lottery
fee: $60 (12 tickets x $5)
- You have
an option with these lottery tickets:
- You can
hold onto the tickets and hopefully become a winner
- You can
sell these tickets for the $5 face value to friends, family or
co-workers. The option of selling the tickets allows you to recoup
part of your sign-up fee.
- When:
- Every day
during the month of June.
- Drawing
will be based on the evening Ohio Lottery Pick 3
- How will the tickets be distributed:
- During
registration:
- Saturday
walk-in sign-ups will be given their tickets at that time
- Mail-in
sign-ups will have their tickets mailed to them
- How will the winnings be distributed:
- Ticket
stubs will be collected during Opening
Day/Picture Day.
- The
League will keep track of the daily winners and will send out checks during
the first week of July.
